My name is Michael Tomlin-Crutchfield and I am the founder, and president, of MTC & CO.

Before starting MTC & Co. in early 2017, I worked for Google's Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) arm and led our team's company-wide philanthropic initiative, Googleserve. During my time with Google, I launched a global newsletter for our team, REWS in the News, and partnered with our executives to tell the story of Google's growth globally.

I also worked with public policy to develop comms for the Mountain View community shuttle and our dynamic services teams to land stories like Google's New Bike Plan Wants Silicon Valley to Be More Like Copenhagen (CityLab) and GoogleServe focuses efforts on local schools (Mountain View Voice).

As a communications specialist for Ford Motor Company, I served as the team's lead writer @Ford online, the company intranet, and the @Ford magazine, which reached over 20,000 employees and retirees. I also led internal communications for the renaissance of the Lincoln brand, including the 2013 Hello, Again tour and launch of the MKZ and MKX.

I began my career as a journalist working for Bloomberg Government as a web producer, where I covered stories like the State of the Union Address and the 2012 Presidential Election.

I graduated from Howard University with a B.A. in journalism.
